The Source for free teaching resources is a bilingual reference guide that provides elementary and secondary teachers with the latest information on the highest quality, free supplemental resources for use in the Canadian school system.
The Source is packed with resources and programs that are produced by some of Canada’s most distinguished government departments, agencies, private corporations and associations. These organizations offer excellent educational materials on topics that fit the Canadian curricula in subjects related to Financial Literacy, Canadian History and Governance; Literacy and Science and the Environment. Additionally, this reference guide features a number of exciting literacy, numeracy and design competitions that reward individual student effort or classroom participation. Educators will also find programs that recognize excellence in teaching and the creation of innovative lesson plans. You will find up-dated resource and program information throughout the year.
