The Investor Education Fund is pleased to announce the launching of its new website,, designed to help Canadians make informed financial decisions. Using key life events, the Fund offers a wealth of resources offered at no cost
that will assist in development of financial skills.

Under "Education Programs" at, teachers will discover a
variety of FREE, curriculum-based classroom ready resources, such as, Taking Stock in Your Future, Let's Talk Investing, Funny Money, Toronto Star teacher kits and The Globe and Mail Online Classroom Edition.

The site provides educators and students with easy-to-use online tools, including:

  • Calculators and worksheets that will help determine how long it will take to pay off credit card debt or loans, help with decisions about paying off debt vs. investing, and how to save for education, buying a home and much more
  • Videos featuring interviews by financial experts that cover topics from devising an investment plan early in one's career, to how to save when buying auto insurance and other expenses that come with increased responsibilities
  • Quizzes to test your financial know-how
  • Case studies from investing basics to retirement planning
